Waiting Pool Information

We would love to be able to accept all applications to our kindergarten, elementary and secondary schools.  However, since having a low student/teacher ratio is essential for an effective learning environment, we must limit the number of students in each class. Many of our grades are filled or are near capacity. For this reason most families find it reassuring to plan a year or two ahead on securing a place for their child--this is especially important for kindergarten.

K3 students have an option of choosing a three-day or five-day program.  Students applying for the five-day program will be placed first.  We will have a limited number of three day spaces available each year.

If you are interested in placing your child in our waiting pool, an application fee of $100.00 along with an admission application will be accepted. As soon as an opening becomes available, we will give you a call and send a registration packet to you for your completion.  The $100.00 submitted with your application  will be applied to fees due MRA upon admission.

If we are unable to place your child for the school year for which you have applied, you may choose to:

1. Request a refund of your $100.00 application fee. Refunds will be issued after September 1. For example, if you have applied for the 2007-2008 school year, your refund will be issued in September 2007.

2. Request that your application fee be rolled over to the next school year (2007-2008). If we cannot place your child for the school year for which you have applied, your child will be placed in the first available space in the next grade for the following year.

If we have an opening and offer a class space to you, and you decline admission, your application fee will be forfeited.

Your application fee will be refunded if you are relocating out of the Jackson metropolitan area. Proof of change of residency is required. Application fees will not be refunded for any other reason.
