MRA will be hosting many different summer athletic camps during June and July.  Camp forms and dates are available for many camps below.  Additional forms and camp dates will be added as they become available.

Baseball Camp

MRA Team Basketball Camps

MRA hosts 4 team camps on campus during the summer.  Students who plan to play for MRA's basketball teams are expected to attend for their specific week.  Coaches will give the players more information before school is out about these camps.  There are no registration forms for these camps.

Camps begin daily at 9:00 am.

Jr. High Girls team camp - Monday, June 23 - Thursday, June 26

Jr. High Boys team camp - Monday, June 30 - Thursday, July 3

Varsity Boys team camp - Monday, July 7 - Thursday, July 10

Varsity Girls team camp - Monday, July 14 - Thursday, July 17

Cheer Camps

Kindergarten cheer camp - Tuesday, July 29 & Wednesday, July 30
This camp will run from 1:00 pm until 3:30 pm both days.

MRA's varsity boys basketball team has won its 2nd consecutive MPSA Overall championship.  The Patriots defeated Hillcrest Christian School by a score of 46 - 42 on Saturday, March 1.  This is the 5th Overall for the boys program here at MRA, and the 3rd in 4 years.

Ryan Goolsby scored 20 points in leading the team to the gold ball.  Andrew Howell scored 13 and played the best defensive game of his career.  The Patriots made 5 of 6 free throws in the last minute of the game to seal the win after Hillcrest made a furious rally to cut a 10 point fourth quarter lead to as little as 1 point.

MRA finished the season with a 33 - 9 record and won the Class AAA, Division I tournament, as well.  This senior class achieved a three year record of 103 - 19 and won 6 state championships. 

A quarterly magazine that features Christian aspects of metro area athletics is now available.  High school and college athletes and coaches will be featured from throughout the metro area.

Past editions have featured Wally Cummins, Michael Kirschten, Coach Richard Duease, and Molly Morgan, and Brett and Ty Armstrong.  The current edition of this magazine features MRA alum Allison Wall.
