We would like to invite all of the PARENTS of our 6th grade students who are entering the MRA Middle School for the 2008-2009 school year to a brief orientation on Monday, August 4th at 6:00 p.m. in the school cafeteria. Student services, teachers, and couselors will be availabe to help you get your 6th grader off to a great start at MRA!   

The 2008-09 school year will begin on Thursday, August 7, 2008 for the students of Madison Ridgeland Academy.  The orientation schedule is as follows:

 8:00 - 8:38 A.M.        General Assembly and Homeroom Assignments (Main Gym)

8:41-8:54 A.M.          1st Period

8:57-9:10 A.M.          2nd Period

9:13-9:26 A.M.          3rd Period

9:29-9:42 A.M.          4th Period

9:45-9:58 A.M.          5th Period

10:01-10:14 A.M.      6th Period

10:17-10:30 A.M.      7th Period

Friday, August 8, 2008 will be the first full day of classes for grades 6-12.  A normal class day will be conducted by the instructors and the students will receive textbooks and assignments. Classes will get underway at 8:03 A.M. and will conclude at 3:15 P.M.

All 6th graders and New Students to MRA:

A mandatory meeting for all sixth graders and new students in grades 7-12 will be held Wednesday, August 6.  Students in grades 6-8 will meet at 1:00 p.m. and students in grades 9-12 will meet at 1:30 p.m.  We will meet in the school cafeteria in the high school building to discuss all aspects of the school curriculum and school life.  Students will have the opportunity to meet their teachers, locate their locker, and tour the campus.  We look forward to meeting with you at this time.
